Meath County Council grants planning permissions for two community developments

Two community projects in County Meath have received approval from Meath County Council for local infrastructure in Kilcloon and Carnaross.
Kilcloon Community Centre CLG has been granted an extension of the duration for a previously approved planning permission.
This permission covers the construction of a single-storey community centre that will include an assembly hall, changing facilities, meeting rooms, a youth room, an entrance area, toilets, and car parking.
The development also includes outline permission for the future construction of 13 single dwellings, as well as the construction of an internal access road and associated services.
In a separate application, permission has also been granted for a planned development at the Carnaross Community Hall, which is located within the curtilage of several Protected Structures.
The approved works involve the demolition of existing welfare facilities and a boiler house to the rear of the hall. These will be replaced by a new single-storey extension designed to improve the functionality of the hall.
In addition to this, internal and external alterations will be carried out alongside ancillary site development works.
