‘Huge contribution to our communities’- Indaver grants to support projects across East Meath

Local community groups and voluntary organisations in East Meath are being invited to apply for funding under the Indaver Community Grant Scheme for 2026.
The fund supports community projects and voluntary groups, helping to bring local initiatives to life.
Fianna Fáil councillor Stephen McKee welcomed the launch of the scheme for next year and encouraged local clubs and organisations to apply under the new round of funding.
“Under the planning conditions of the Indaver scheme, a levy is charged for every tonne accepted at the waste-to-energy facility, with the proceeds directed back into the local community,” Cllr McKee said.
“The fund is managed by the Community Liaison Committee, of which I am a member, and is designed to provide financial assistance to community-based clubs and voluntary organisations for projects and works in the locality.”
He said a wide range of worthwhile projects have been delivered with support from the scheme in recent years.
Past beneficiaries include the Duleek Bellewstown Community Facility, along with a number of local sports clubs.
Cllr McKee added: “So many local groups and organisations continue to benefit every year from the scheme. They make a huge contribution to our communities.”
