10m high-tech manufacturing facility planned for Meath town
Plans for a new high tech manufacturing facility in Ashbourne have been lodged with Meath County Council.
The proposal, submitted by Solas Geal Distribution Ltd, seeks permission to build a single-storey manufacturing building with a two-storey office and plant section in Ashbourne Business Park, reaching an overall height of 10.115 metres. The total floor area of the facility would be 1,996 square metres.
Plans include 26 standard car parking spaces, two wheelchair-accessible spaces, and 16 bicycle spaces, along with an ESB substation and bin storage area.
Meanwhile, the project also provides for a goods yard, internal driveway, landscaping, and full water and drainage connections on a 0.41-hectare site.
