New Louth ‘hub’ to report potholes, faulty street lights, and pay pesky parking fines

Louth County Council has launched a new ‘Customer Hub’, a digital platform aimed at making it easier for the public to report potholes, graffiti and even faulty street lights.
The 24/7 system allows users to access an expanding range of the Council’s 1,100-plus services, submit queries, track updates in real time and receive faster responses, significantly reducing the need for phone calls and emails.
The local authority currently manages around 17,000 customer enquiries each month, and is introducing the new Customer Hub in a bid to “handle this volume more efficiently while improving overall service delivery.”
Members of the public can now easily report local issues such as potholes, pay parking fines, and submit service requests through this simple, centralised system.
Louth County Council say the hub will replace the previous customer management platform and it is planned to add additional features as the platform evolves.
Cllr Seán Kelly, Cathaoirleach of Louth County Council, said: “This is a very positive development for the people of Louth. The new Customer Hub will make it easier for people across the county to access services and engage with the Council in a more convenient and accessible way and reflects our ongoing commitment to improving how we serve the public.”
David Conway, Chief Executive of Louth County Council, said: “The launch of the Customer Hub is a key milestone in modernising our service delivery. It reflects Louth County Council’s core values of being innovative and citizen-centred and forms part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing digital services and improving customer experience.”
