He is charged with, on dates unknown between July 25 and October 27, 2025, both days inclusive, being a person subject to a Sex Offenders’ Order, failed to notify and continued to notify on every third day thereafter, the specific location of the place in the State where you intended to reside at on the night of that notification.
The man is further accused of contravening the provisions of a Sex Offenders’ Order by changing address without notifying Gardaí in person at a garda station 24 hours prior to this change with a new address, on a temporary or permanent basis, by travelling on a ferry from Belfast to Scotland on July 17, 2025.
The defendant is also charged with a similar alleged offence in respect of travelling to Ayrshire, Scotland on dates unknown between July 2 and October 27, 2025, both days inclusive.
Court presenter Sgt Richie Browne sought a two-week adjournment for the execution of a bench warrant. He said that the case will require a book of evidence.
Judge Nicola Andrews remanded the accused in custody to be produced in person on April 22.
