Bus stop needed at M1 Retail Park

A call went out from Drogheda Borough District meeting, asking Louth County Council to write to Bus Eireann and the National Transport Authority with a request for a bus stop to be added to the 182 Monaghan to Navan bus route.

Cllr. Eric Donovan said: “This bus picks up in Tullyallen every two hours and drives as close as 300 metres, roughly, to the M! Retail Park bus stop, but deviates and stops down the North Road, approximately two kilometres away from the M1 Retail Park.”

He added: “Including a stop at the retail park for this bus route would benefit so many people from the Tullyallen area, considering it is one of the closest parishes to the M1 Retail Park, and many of my constituents do work, shop, workout and solcialise there.”
