Where the three counties meet , bid to boost scenic border into tourist attraction

Limerick, Kerry, and Cork county councils to develop the scenic area near Mountcollins, Brosna, and Rockchapel
A proposed funding request for the area known as the “Meeting of the Three Counties” was brought forward at the monthly meeting of the Newcastle West Municipal District.
Cllr Michael Collins highlighted the unique location where Limerick, Kerry, and Cork converge, near Mountcollins, Brosna, and Rockchapel, describing it as a scenic spot with untapped tourism potential.
The investment would help too revitalise a rural border area that often goes unnoticed despite its charm. The proposal is expected to be further explored in discussions between the three county councils.
