ALERT: Section of N21 closed for essential works from January to March
Eastbound hard shoulder at Monearla Bridge closed until March 27with delays expected, emergency vehicles will maintain access
LIMERICK City and County Council have advised motorists that the N21 at Monearla Bridge will experience an extended closure for essential embankment construction works.
The project will run continuously from Wednesday, January 7 until Friday, March 27, lasting nearly 12 full weeks. During this period, the eastbound hard shoulder will be closed. While the main carriageway will remain open, minor delays are expected, particularly during peak travel times.
Emergency service vehicles will continue to have access throughout the duration of the works.
Limerick City and County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused and greatly appreciates the patience and cooperation of all motorists during this extended maintenance period.
