2 Autism Diagnosis 7 April

A Slice of Life looks at the interaction between autism, education and the perceived need for diagnosis. We hear from Julie Meehan, a psychologist who deals frequently with neurodiversity on the build up of stress and emotion for families around diagnosis as demanded by the education system and on the benefits gained when people better understand their own neurotype. Adam Harris, of AS I AM, Ireland's Autism Charity, speaks about the difficulties faced in accessing diagnosis and supports.
