Two men charged after €700,000 of cocaine seized in Douglas searches
Two men, in their 30s and 40s, were charged after Gardaí seized suspected cocaine worth €700,000, cannabis worth €60,000 and more than €40,000 in cash during searches in Douglas on Tuesday 30 December 2025.
The Cork City Divisional Drugs Unit carried out the searches under Operation Tara. A follow-up search by the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau in Dublin 14 the next day found about €9,000 of cannabis and €4,000 in cash.
The men were due before a special sitting of Cork District Court on Friday 2 January 2026.
