Four men charged after Cork city centre drug gang operation
Four men were charged after a Garda operation against an organised crime group suspected of selling drugs in Cork city centre, which led to seven arrests and searches of seven premises from Tuesday 25 March 2025.
The Cork City Divisional Drugs Unit led the operation, backed by serious crime, surveillance, armed support and dog units, Operation Tara and city centre Gardaí.
Two men, in their 30s and 40s, were due before Cork District Court on Friday 28 March, and two more were due before the court on Monday 31 March 2025. Three people were released without charge, and a woman in her 40s arrested on 29 March was still being questioned at that stage.
