Judge’s illness may force appeal court to re-hear high-profile cases, including that of Anthony Lyons

A number of cases before the Court of Criminal Appeal, including the case against sex-attacker Anthony Lyons, may have to be reheard because a High Court judge has fallen seriously ill. Chief Justice Susan Denham this morning told the Court of Criminal Appeal that Mr Justice Michael Hanna is serious
