'Not the crime of a mastermind': Burglar ended up hanging upside down from blinds

A burglar who grabbed a homeowner in the groin during a struggle ended up hanging upside down from the blinds of a bedroom window after he was beaten with a golf club as he tried to escape, a court has heard. Defendant Gary Bailey (45) later told gardai that “this was not the crime of a mastermind”
