College student avoids jail for unprovoked assault on girl in nightclub
A 19-year-old college student from Charlemont has received a suspended sentence for assaulting a girl in a Temple Bar nightclub. The defendant pleaded guilty at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court to assault causing harm at Alchemy on 28 March 2014.
