Murderer who escaped from English prison and fled here to seek to appeal extradition decision

A man convicted of murder in England in 1973 appeared before the High Court in connection with extradition proceedings. Anthony Craig, aged 66, had escaped from an English prison and subsequently lived in counties Cork and Leitrim before his arrest in February 2013 on foot of a UK extradition warrant.
