Kieran O'Connor wanted to do up an old vacant cottage on New Street in Headford and add a new two-storey extension out the back, along with site works. Galway County Council refused the application in May 2026.
Julie Muldoon has been given the green light to build a new house and garage at Muckcoort, Headford, along with a treatment system for wastewater. The council has also approved moving some of the front boundary walls to make sure there's proper visibility when entering and leaving the property.
Grace Bane has received conditional planning permission to build a two-storey house at Bunnaconeen, Headford. The development includes a new site access and an effluent treatment system to handle wastewater. The decision was made on 30 April 2026.
