Money mule tried to withdraw deposit scam cash while in school uniform
A schoolgirl acted as a mule for money launderers in a scam which robbed a man of his deposit for a house, a court has heard. Merveille Ngombo, now aged 19, raised suspicions when she walked into a bank in her school uniform and tried to withdraw €3,000 in cash, Dublin Circuit Criminal Court heard.
