The Director of Public Prosecutions has appealed an 18-month custodial sentence imposed on a Donegal man, arguing it was unduly lenient. Leon Kelly, aged 34, pleaded guilty at Letterkenny Circuit Criminal Court to assault causing harm and criminal damage following incidents in April 2019 at Beechwood Grove, Lifford.
