Rape trial jury to resume deliberations

The jury in a rape trial at the Central Criminal Court is to resume deliberations tomorrow following over two hours of consideration today. The accused, now aged 21, has pleaded not guilty to the charge of raping a woman in an alleyway in Donegal Town in July 2012, when both parties were 18 years old. The trial before Mr Justice Tony Hunt concluded after six days of evidence.
