Yvolve Sports exits interim examinership after recapitalisation agreement

By Rory Hanlon

This report is a localnews.ie summary based on public court reporting and records; sources are listed below.

Yvolve Sports Limited exited interim examinership following an agreement between shareholders aimed at ensuring its survival. The toy-making company employed 41 people in Ireland and made Flicker scooters and other outdoor and sports products.

On 9 July 2018, the court was told that the petition to place the company into examinership was being withdrawn following a shareholder agreement under which the company would be recapitalised. Ms Justice Caroline Costello adjourned the matter to later that week to see whether issues including the examiner’s fees could be resolved.

Ms Justice Costello had appointed Neil Hughes interim examiner in June 2018.
