WRC upholds two financial workers’ unfair dismissal complaints

By Fionn Kelly

This report is a localnews.ie summary based on public court reporting and records; sources are listed below.

The Workplace Relations Commission upheld Natasza Korajda and Natalia Koziol’s complaints under the Unfair Dismissals Act 1977, finding that Stephen Hamilton Financial Services, trading as Mortgageline, did not conduct a reasonably fair process before dismissing them.

The adjudicator found that Hamilton’s investigation report had already concluded that gross misconduct had occurred and dismissal was warranted, prejudicing the later disciplinary process. He awarded Korajda €4,650 and directed the firm to pay Koziol €3,000.
