This report is a localnews.ie summary based on public court reporting and records; sources are listed below.

The Workplace Relations Commission ordered CPD Ventures Ltd, trading as Yung Medical Aesthetics, to pay Dr Paul Coughlan €86,608 for loss of earnings and €5,000 after finding disability discrimination. The complaints were brought under the Payment of Wages Act 1991 and the Employment Equality Act 1998.

Adjudication officer Gaye Cunningham found that Coughlan had been denied reasonable accommodation for stress and depression. The company was in liquidation when the case came before her in July; a liquidator’s representative attended, but the report said no evidence was offered for the company.
