Wicklow gardaí launch investigation after man found dead in Arklow
The Wicklow PeopleA man has been found dead in Arklow, Co Wicklow, with a post-mortem examination due to take place to determine the course of the Garda investigation.
In a statement, An Garda Síochána said gardaí and emergency services were alerted to an incident in Arklow, Co Wicklow, at approximately 1pm on Thursday, June 4, 2026.
A male was found deceased at the scene.
His body was removed to the mortuary at St Columcille’s Hospital, Loughlinstown, Co Dublin.
Gardaí stated that a post-mortem examination is due to take place and that its findings will determine the course of the investigation.
Foul play is not suspected at this time.
