Vesel Jahiri was found guilty of murdering Anna Finnegan by a unanimous Central Criminal Court jury on 12 April 2017. The jury also convicted him of assaulting Karl Finnegan, causing him harm, during the same attack at Allendale Glen, Clonsilla, Dublin 15, on 21 September 2012. Jahiri had pleaded not guilty to both charges. Mr Justice Paul Coffey adjourned sentencing until 8 May 2017 and remanded Jahiri in custody pending that date.
