Unnamed teenager resentenced for rape after State appeal

An unnamed youth, aged 15 at the time, was convicted by majority verdict of rape and acquitted of a second rape charge.

The Court of Appeal resentenced him on 3 December 2024 to three and a half years’ detention, suspending the final 12 months.
