Tracey McGann’s discrimination, victimisation and discriminatory constructive dismissal complaints against ERS Genomics Ltd were adjourned by the Workplace Relations Commission after a hearing on 16 October 2023. The complaints arose from her employment at the company; the report described an alleged exchange at a company dinner in October 2022.
McGann alleged that the company treated her unfairly after she sought reduced hours and an assistant, and said she resigned in January 2023 after sending a legal letter outlining her grievances. ERS Genomics contested the complaints.
The WRC case was to be set down for two further days of hearings in early 2024, with dates to be confirmed.
This case may have concluded differently. The outcome has not yet been confirmed by a public source we could find.
