Tipperary man pleads guilty to rape and sexual assault

A 64-year-old Tipperary man pleaded guilty at the Central Criminal Court to one count of rape, one count of attempted rape and three counts of sexual assault. The proceedings were reported on 26 February 2018. The offences against his niece occurred between December 1999 and May 2005, when she was aged between five and 10.
