Thomas Joseph O’Connor was ordered to surrender to the UK over a £5 million tax fraud, in a High Court decision reported on 30 October 2018.

The Supreme Court had dismissed his appeal, ending the stay on extradition, and Justice Aileen Donnelly directed that he be surrendered from 31 October.

O’Connor was convicted at Blackfriars Crown Court in January 2007 and sentenced to four years and six months for defrauding the British revenue.
