Teen with special needs secures interim school place

A teenager with special needs secured an interim school place after High Court proceedings were resolved on 14 December 2023.

The boy, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, had been unable to find a school placement suited to his health and educational needs.

His counsel told the court that discussions between the parties had led to the interim place; a more suitable, permanent placement nearer to him was hoped for in future.
