Stephen Gibbons loses appeal against firearm conviction

Stephen Gibbons, 58, had his appeal dismissed by the Court of Appeal against his conviction for unlawfully possessing a 9mm submachine pistol.

A jury convicted him at Trim Circuit Court in May 2021 and acquitted him of possessing ammunition.

The case was recorded in July 2022.
