Unnamed 76-year-old man’s sexual assault convictions upheld

An unnamed 76-year-old man from the southwest had his convictions for 13 sexual assaults upheld by the Court of Appeal.

He was sentenced at Limerick Circuit Criminal Court in June 2021 to six years, with the final two years suspended.

The case was recorded in May 2023.
