A mortgage loan servicing company is seeking a repossession order against the Bray home of businessman Frank Bonadio, the former partner of the late singer Sinéad O’Connor

Pepper Finance Corporation (Ireland) Designated Activity Company, trading as Pepper Asset Servicing, and Frank Bonadio, of Martello Terrace, Bray, were due to appear before a sitting of Wicklow Circuit Civil Court, with Pepper seeking a repossession order in respect of Mr Bonadio’s home.

Counsel for the defendant, Conor Rubalcava, informed the court that his client is in ill health and was unable to attend.

Mr Bonadio is the founder of Advanced Surgical Concepts (ASC), a medical engineering company operating in Bray, and the former husband of singer Mary Coughlan.

He came to national attention when he began a high-profile relationship with Irish singer Sinéad O’Connor. The couple had a son, who was born in December 2006, before later separating.

During their relationship, a public feud developed between Ms Coughlan and the Nothing Compares 2 U singer, with them reconciling before Ms O’Connor’s death.
