Mr Justice Séamus Noonan dismissed all applications in a series of High Court judicial reviews involving people facing repossession orders for their homes. The applications did not qualify under the rules for judicial review. The proceedings were reported on 4 February 2017.
All the applicants had represented themselves as lay litigants. The judge questioned where some were getting their legal advice. After being told that some had received advice from an unnamed friend before coming to court, he commented: “There’s a lot of misinformation out there.”
