A trial date of 10 June 2020 was set at the Central Criminal Court for Richard Burke, who was accused of murdering Jasmine McMonagle. Mr Justice Michael White set the date on the morning of 29 April 2019.

Ms McMonagle was found dead at her home in Forest Park, Killygordon, on 4 January 2019. She was 28 and originally from Castlefinn.

Burke, then 27, of Forest Park, Killygordon, appeared before Judge Kevin Kilrane at a special sitting of Sligo District Court on 5 January 2019. He was charged with murder contrary to common law.
