Rafal Chylinski, a Polish native with an address at Castlecurragh Road, Mulhuddart, was granted bail after appearing in court charged in connection with a cannabis seizure in Dublin. He was ordered to appear in court again in October.
Chylinski and a second man, David Gill, were arrested and charged following a series of searches by Gardaí from the Surveillance Unit, the Garda Organised Crime Unit and local drugs units. A large sum of cash was also recovered during the operation.
The cannabis recovered included 1kg of herb from a car stopped on Kylemore Road, Ballyfermot, 8.5kg from a van stopped on Clonsilla Road, and 15kg found in a search of a house on Dale Road, Stillorgan. Gardaí believe the drugs are collectively worth around €600,000.
