Piotr Fraszczyk was awarded €5,950.50 for unpaid wages, holiday pay and notice by the Workplace Relations Commission (WRC), following a hearing on 21 February 2025.

The WRC found that JMS International Holdings Ltd, trading as Shanahan’s on the Green in Dublin, owed him one week’s gross wages of €750 and 4.67 days of accrued annual leave. The adjudicator also found that his 14 years’ service entitled him to six weeks’ notice, which the employer had not given.

The award included €4,500 in compensation for the missing notice, bringing the total to €5,950.50. He had already received a statutory redundancy payment of €17,160, the report said.
