Pavel Macho was awarded €4,000 for workplace penalisation by the Workplace Relations Commission. The proceedings were reported on 2 May 2023.

The adjudicator found Verizon's actions towards Macho were unwarranted and ordered it to remove a warning from his disciplinary record. The €4,000 compensation was to be paid in Czech crowns.

The WRC also ordered Verizon to pay €5,610, half the consultancy bill, to European Works Council chairman Jean-Phillippe Charpentier.

Verizon did not have to pay hotel bills and conference fees for four staff representatives attending a training course. In parallel decisions, adjudicating officer Kevin Baneham found the workers had standing to bring claims for conference expenses, but their approach did not meet the spirit of co-operation.
