This report is a localnews.ie summary based on public court reporting and records; sources are listed below.

Saulius Daunaravicius and Kristina Daunaraviciene were awaiting trial over alleged medicines offences at their home in Saggart, Co Dublin. The proceedings were reported on 25 July 2023.

The pair had not indicated pleas. Judge Anthony Halpin ordered them to appear again at Dublin District Court in September. The case was considered too serious to be heard at District Court level and was to be sent forward for trial on indictment to the Circuit Court.

Both were accused of keeping various medicinal products, including steroids, for supply without a prescription and of unlawfully placing medicinal products on the market while not lawfully conducting a retail pharmacy. The alleged offences occurred at their home on or about 23 September 2022.

Daunaravicius also faced a charge of failing to provide an authorised officer with his mobile phone or its whereabouts when requested. State solicitor Anna Bridgeman told the court that the book of evidence was being typed and needed to be served before a return for trial order could be granted.

This report covers an earlier stage of the case. Later developments are not reported here.
