This report is a localnews.ie summary based on public court reporting and records; sources are listed below.

The Office of the Director of Corporate Enforcement’s High Court case over legal privilege in FAI documents was adjourned on 28 January 2021 to allow proposals for extra examiners to be considered. The proposals relate to documents seized during an investigation into the Football Association of Ireland.

The ODCE proposed appointing five additional people to help Niall Nolan examine material claimed to be legally privileged. The court must ultimately determine which documents are privileged and cannot be used in the investigation.

The matter was adjourned to the following month.
