This report is a localnews.ie summary based on public court reporting and records; sources are listed below.

Nicholas Keogh denied rounding up people to make complaints against a garda before the Disclosures Tribunal, as reported on 15 October 2019.

Keogh alleged that Garda A, a senior Athlone drugs-unit member, had an improper relationship with a heroin dealer identified as Ms B.

He said he had searched Garda A on the Pulse system after receiving intelligence, and that the search related to an internal investigation.

Keogh also denied encouraging Olivia O'Neill to name Garda A, saying he had only told her to name guards and names.

The tribunal hearing continued.
