Mohammed Nasser Mohiuddin was sentenced to three and a half years, with the final 18 months suspended, at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court for handling stolen cash, reported on 20 January 2020. The money, transferred in five transactions between February and March 2017, came from an invoice redirect fraud involving wind turbine company Enercon GMBH.

Mohiuddin pleaded guilty to five charges and was told he had carried out the offences for financial reward. The court heard that more than €202,000 was transferred into his account, and that he had been promised €10,000 but received nothing.
