Michael Corbett, 32, pleaded guilty to assault causing harm to a prison officer and producing a weapon at Mountjoy Prison on 19 October 2020.

Dublin Circuit Criminal Court imposed 30 months, consecutive to his attempted murder sentence, with the final 12 months suspended.
