Meta and WhatsApp challenge GDPR fines

Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd and WhatsApp Ireland Ltd challenged Data Protection Commission fines exceeding €395 million in the High Court.

The applications were heard on 22 May 2023; the judge granted permission to bring the challenges and made them returnable in June.
