Martin Gordon resolved his disability discrimination complaint against La Maison under the Equal Status Act, with the Workplace Relations Commission told on 3 June 2024 that the dispute had been settled.
The complaint concerned an alleged refusal to let Gordon and his family dine indoors with his guide dog at the Dublin 2 restaurant on 14 January 2023. Semogo Ltd, which operates La Maison, denied the complaint and had argued that indoor tables were booked.
The WRC had heard several hours of testimony before the parties reported an agreement. The adjudicator adjourned the matter for four weeks after being told the claim had been resolved.
