Man in his 20s charged in relation to ‘sophisticated growhouse’ in Wexford
Wexford PeopleA man in his 20s has been charged in connection with a drugs bust which took place in Oylegate, Wexford, this week.
Rokas Korzenlauskas (29) of Polldarrig, Oylegate, Wexford, appeared before Gorey District Court where he was charged in relation to what Gardaí described as a “sophisticated growhouse” where a suspected 130 cannabis plants were seized from the home of the defendant on August 7.
Marie Murphy, solicitor for the accused, confirmed that there is consent to custody until Korzenlauskas’s next court appearance on October 15 when a bail application will be made.
Directions from the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) are still outstanding in this matter.
