A 45-year-old man has been sent forward on a signed plea to Sligo Circuit Court charged with possession of drugs and money laundering.

Mohammed Dulloo of Garavogue Villas, Sligo was charged with possessing cannabis for sale or supply, possession of the drug and concealing the true nature of property that was the proceeds of criminal conduct, money in the amount of €4,686 whilst knowing or being reckless as to whether or not the same property was the proceeds of criminal conduct at Garavogue Villas on August, 27, 2025.

Sergeant David McDonagh told Judge Éiteáin Cunningham that the defendant was going forward on a signed plea. He said that his application was for Dulloo to be sent forward to the next sittings of Sligo Circuit Court on July 14.

Judge Cunningham noted the signed plea and gave the defendant the alibi warning.

Mr Mark Mullaney, solicitor (defending), asked Judge Cunningham to extend legal aid to cover one junior counsel.
