Man (23) appears in court in connection with drugs seizure in south Sligo

A man has appeared in Carrick on Shannon District court in connection to a seizure of drugs earlier this month in south Sligo.

Fionn Moore (23) of Ballinarry, Riverstown, was charged with the possession of cannabis, and the possession of cannabis for the purpose of selling and supplying it to another at Ballinarry, Riverstown, on September 13, 2026.

Judge Éiteáin Cunningham said bail terms have been set.

Ms Aoife Kelly, solicitor (defending) replied that her client was not currently in a position to take bail up.

Judge Cunningham adjourned the case to October 20, with Moore to appear via video link.
