Man (21) charged after €14,500 worth of drugs seized in Wicklow

Ben Fitzgerald (21), of 31 Ballywaltrim Heights, Bray, appeared before Bray District Court charged with possession of drugs for sale or supply.

In a statement, gardaí said several searches were conducted in the Bray area on Wednesday, September 3. During the operation, suspected cannabis and cocaine with an estimated combined value of €14,500 were seized. Gardaí said the substances will be sent for analysis.

The accused was later arrested and charged in connection with the seizure.

Judge David Kennedy remanded Mr Fitzgerald on bail to appear again before Bray District Court on November 17, 2025.
