By Orla Quinn

This report is a localnews.ie summary based on public court reporting and records; sources are listed below.

Lois West’s whistleblower complaints against the Garda Commissioner, the Government and the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform were still before the Workplace Relations Commission when proceedings continued on 6 November 2025.

West said she took sick leave after reporting concerns about a newly appointed analysis chief. Her allegations of harassment and sexual harassment against him remained unproven, and the State’s counsel stressed that the tribunal had made no findings on them. The case was continuing before an adjudication officer on 7 November 2025.
