Kieran Ryan’s firearms sentence reduced on appeal

Kieran Ryan, 29, of Moyross, pleaded guilty to possessing a Browning semi-automatic pistol and 15 rounds of ammunition at Limerick Circuit Criminal Court.

The Court of Criminal Appeal reduced his sentence from eight years to seven years.

The case was recorded in July 2014.
